When it comes to keeping you out of harm's way, the category-changing A4 maintains a constant vigil. The praised Electronic Stabilization Program (ESP) helps maintain control of the car when it determines the car is near or at its handling limit keeping the A4 moving in its intended direction.

Audi side assist offers drivers piece of mind while changing lanes. If a car is detected in their blind spot, up to a range of 150 feet (for fast approaching vehicles), the driver is alerted via a flashing LED light in the side view mirror housing.

And as a last resort, the A4 offers a comprehensive supplemental airbag system including full-size airbags for driver and front passenger with two-stage activation, front side airbags, and Sideguard™ head airbags. Optional rear side airbags are available.
